Cadesius The genesis of ProleteR was my introduction to the world of electro - swing, and suffice to say, I've never looked back. The catchy beats and samples from early to mid 20th century songs combine to form some of the best easy going music I've ever heard. The bonus tracks are also well worth checking out if you like this album, especially Faidherbe Square, which is an excellent piece.
Thank you ProleteR for this amazing EP. Favorite track: The misfit song.

PVI Discovered ProleteR by accident, truly, but instantly fell in love with the strange and beautiful sound all the same. The blend of classic samples and instruments alongside modern electronic components isn't like anything else- and that's certainly the charm! Favorite track: U Can Get It.

ethan flores I love music of the thirties and fourties, and appreciate the update that the electro influence brings to the vintage sound. Favorite track: April Showers.

ProleteR Toulouse, France

It's already more than 10 years since ProleteR dropped his debut EP. The signature sound of the french Producer, made of banging hiphop beats and clever patchwork of wonderful jazz and swing samples, was the missing link between the underground beatmaking scene and electro swing music. Some of his contagious feelgood tracks are underground classics. ... more
